Danica Patrick? The latest report puts her in a Rick Hendrick Chevrolet

Officials at Roush Fenway Racing and Hendrick Motorsports spent part of Sunday putting down another Danica Patrick rumor. This one, from an Internet blogger, implied that the companies are fighting over the IndyCar driver. The story offered no proof, only that “sources” have said that Rick Hendrick apparently has beaten Jack Roush, and that Patrick will replace Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Geoff Smith, president of Roush Fenway Racing, acknowledged that International Management Group is polling Cup teams, gauging their interest in one of America’s best-known racers. He said IMG hasn’t visited Roush Fenway yet, but it will.
“They’re talking to everybody over here, all the teams in the garage,” Smith said Sunday. “We’re in the loop, but we haven’t scheduled a meeting yet. Maybe we’ll have one pretty soon.” Autoweek

na this is all a lie danica cant replace Jr., 1. Dale Jr. has a contract with hendrick till 2013, 2. its still unsure danica is coming to nascar 3. Hendrick has brad keselowski as a future driver and if he aint have a ride yet who is already in the sport why does danica who aint even in..and has no experience
I kinda wish she would to prove that all the Dale Jr fans that he is as worthless as the results say he is oh and yea that crash was all Kyle Busch’s fault on screwed up the gears and spun there tires u can say what u want, but the replays don’t lie. But no Jr will prolly stay there, however if Rick was smart he’d put her in over Jr.
I agree! This is the worst rumor I have ever heard! For this to be true, it would mean that Mr. Hendrick would be kicking the “most popular driver” in the sport off the team. If he did this all of Junior’s fans would be furious. It would be the worst/ending decision of his career! While I think Danica has the same, if not more talent, as Junior, bringing her into a sport where she has few, if any, dedicated fans would start her off in the whole as far as merchandise sales. Also, it would be devastating to her career because she would most likely struggle all season and there would be a chance she could lose her ride and/or sponsor because of it.
