Joey Logano could be out of Gibbs No.20 car soon?

Joey Logano, the 18-year old Sprint Cup Series rookie they call “Sliced Bread,” likely didn’t do much on Sunday to cool rumors that he could be out of his Joe Gibbs Racing No. 20 Home Depot sponsored car soon. After posting his best career Sprint Cup qualifying effort on Friday, securing the 10th starting spot for Sunday’s Samsung 500 at Texas Motor Speedway, Logano ran an uninspiring 30th in the race, finishing four laps behind race winner Jeff Gordon. … Fox Sports reported over the weekend that current Earnhardt Ganassi Racing driver Martin Truex Jr. could be in line to replace Logano in the No. 20 Home Depot sponsored Sprint Cup car. — Hartford Courant

Joey has lots of talent, but was moved into Sprint Cup too soon.
I don’t think Joey has that much talent. I have raced for years against all these kids that have rich dads that buy them the best stuff. Therefore, these kids think they have talent and when you get to NASCAR you better have talent or your out!
Yet just another rumor. Im pretty sure that Gibbs new that he wasnt going to do what he did last year in Nationwide, in the first season. Plus, Gibbs has already said that he has no intentions of getting rid of Joey and he shouldnt.
The kid has talent and if fans would quit being so critical on situations they couldnt handle if put in the drivers shoes, then some of these drivers might actually drive better.
Im sure the pressure he has after last season, hes trying his hardest. The only mistake I see here is Gibbs rushing him into Nextel.
I agree with Mike. This kid will be great one day!!!!
I agree with Wesley about Logano. Money does not buy talent.
Well I agree with Mike and Cathy, this kid will be great one day, I just think he was rushed into the Cup Series to soon, Gibbs should’ve let him run full time Nationwide this season and maybe a couple of Cup Races and then possibly move him up in 2010, the boy has a lot of pressure on him trying to succeed and it has to be tough for a 18 yr old, give the boy a couple years and he will be great!
Gibbs is not going to pull Joey Logano out of the 20 car, he needs all the seat time he can get and it would hurt Logano in the long run. Joe Gibbs is smarter than that.
I think JOey is a great driver. But, i do agree that he went into the Sprint Cup too soon. I think he should have stand in the Nationwide a little bit longer. I think Gibbs will stick with Joey. He just needs alittle bit more practice.. More seat time will help him.
i hope truex stays in a bow tie, it would be cool to see truex ride out the year with egr, then go to hendricks with jr, and brad go under either shr or jrm in a cup ride!
